Results of a clinical study with “gold standard” sleep analysis by polysomnography with EEG  published in the Journal of Sleep Research demonstrated premature infants experienced 14% more sleep and increased active sleep when wearing DREAMIES.   Findings suggest that DREAMIES may augment sleep in premature infants by reducing acute episodes of adverse noise in the NICU.  See:  E.
